Gratitude

Life has been a little on the crazy side as of late. Turns out articulating an idea AND accepting the process of making that idea into something tangible is a little tricky. But I am surviving, doing my best to take one day at a time and finding myself so grateful for the people in my life, particularly this one; he keeps me sane (or at least reasonably so).

A NEW DAY...

For the past year I have been stumbling towards, longing for, and desperately in search of a meaningful and fulfilling way to spend my days. And I am happy to report a tad bit of progress. I am currently launching myself a little company; a company that will allow me to contribute positively to the world around me, while satisfying my urge to make beautiful and functional spaces. Hello World, meet {RE}DESIGN.

But before there was {RE}DESIGN, there was One Fine Day. One Fine Day was initially intended to be an umbrella to my lists of interests and hopeful endeavors. I signed up for blogger over a year ago; since then my posts have been irregular and mostly dedicated to personal musings.

But alas, a phone chat with one of my nearest and dearest shed some light on the situation. I have realized there is a place for One Fine Day and the time has come to start articulating the details. There will be some musings, and personal tid-bits, but from here on out this little blog is taking a turn; this girl's take on the places we call home, flowers & events, and someday soon, furniture finds. Rough life, eh?
