oh so happy...

it's funny. one day i just woke up, and some of my most personal aspirations seemed so simple; and everyday, they become more and more so. don't know what sparked the promising professional life of zoe samczyk, but something sure did; and she couldn't be happier...

oh goodness!

yesterday a friend and i went our for thai food and some antiquing. someone found herself a record player. had one ages ago, but like so many things, i managed to lose track of it along the way.

the lovely miss k. surprised me and threw down the cash needed. who's the luckiest girl in the world? a full belly, a day of fun, some sunshine, and a truly wonderful friend. can't wait to show my small vinyl collection some love.

all things blue...

had myself a blue moment or two as of late. think i can safely say that i am nearing the other side of my sad situation, and surprised to find that my woebegone days have actually brought about a list of positive changes in my life.

i'm not saying i am ready to embrace the source of my blues as being entirely positive, just realizing that sometimes the sad stuff has a purpose and a place. and so perhaps it's no surprise that i find myself drawn to the sweet shades of the melancholy monsieur bleu.
